LowCarbBenni, also known as Benjamin Oltmann, is a certified nutritionist and popular figure in the low-carb diet community. Benni is the author of several best-selling low-carb cookbooks, including “The Best of LowCarbBenni” series, which feature hundreds of easy-to-make low-carb recipes. His books aim to help people achieve their weight loss goals without feeling deprived or hungry. His own transformation, where he lost 30 kg in five months, serves as an inspiration to his followers​.

We did a Black Friday landing page for his e-commerce campaign. The goal was show-off his latest books, inform the audience… and sell some books.

The Special Offer

The Special Offer section was aimed to inform visitors about the Black Friday offer of the Deluxe book packages. The first one was the regular package aimed at the wide audience, and the second one was aimed at his vegan followers.

Each offer consisted of three books available as a packaged deal, now with a lower price. We made sue that visitors knew what they were getting, emphasised the new special pricing, and gave them a glimpse of the book’s beautiful hardcover packaging.

The Before & Afters

Probably one of the best tactics for this kinds of products is the before & after. We had all the most important information placed here. The before & after images, but also the person’s real name, their story and at last the amount of weight lost. There is nothing better than reading a success story that motivates people to take care of themselves.

The Books

So, what’s inside the book?

We created a slider with a brief description and the content sections titles. Each book was represented by its beautiful hardcover looks, reader’s review score, and the easily accessible buy now button. All this gave potential buyers a view into what they were buying and whether that was the right book for them.

The Catalog

When you are writing books for a long time, well… You had the time to write a lot of books.

The catalog was the place where buyers could see all books side-by-side and make a decision which ones were right for them, or for the loved ones. With over 10 different books with tons of recipes for people with fine taste in food, there was a lot to choose from.

Mobile Friendly

Most of the buyers in the german speaking regions (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) use their mobile phones to do their shopping, so naturally having a optimized mobile presence was one of the most important goals for this project. The beautiful design was successfully adapted to the mobile and tablet screens, and made the experience that much professional.

The Christmas Sale

Having a great response and massive sales with the Black Friday page, on Benni’s request we updated it to fit the next sales season, Christmas. We kept the original look and feel, but added that christmassy decorations and softer colors that remind the visitor of a warm Christmas night by the fire.
